People for Ending Poverty Political Action Committee (PEP PAC) will support, in a non-partisan fashion, candidates who advocate effectively for programs addressing the plight of the poor in America today.  We believe that just as industries, business, labor, and other interests are well represented on the Hill, so too should those struggling in poverty be similarly represented. In a country with vast resources and wealth, we believe public policy should address the chronic poverty that still persists in society. Some politicians believe that low income Americans do not vote and lack a voice to speak out for their interests.

PEP PAC will change that perception by raising money to donate to political campaigns across the country, aiming to elect those individuals who will support programs that aid those in poverty and work towards creating a sustainable future for ALL Americans. Federal deficit reduction must not be achieved on the backs of the poor!

We will work with existing poverty organizations to help support and strengthen the goals of all groups dedicated to eradicating poverty in America. With a strong consensus behind this effort, we intend to bring poverty to the forefront of the next campaign cycle and the Presidential election.
